You decide you need to collect dues, not just read about it
This is the point where an information site stops being enough. You need somewhere to hold member records and take payments.
You go to Sellrow
Any 'get started' or 'log in' link on this site takes you to sellrow.co. That is a different site, and it is stated as such wherever the link appears.
You create an organization account there
Registration and authentication happen on Sellrow. PayDues has no part in it and never sees your credentials.
You manage everything from the Sellrow dashboard
Members, dues, payments, receipts and reporting. PayDues remains what it was — a place to read about how dues work.
Why they are kept separate
Because they answer different needs. Most people who arrive at PayDues are trying to understand something — what dues are, whether they have to pay them, how to collect them without it consuming their evenings. Most of them do not need software, and a site that treated every visitor as a prospective customer would be worse at answering their question.
Keeping the information layer genuinely independent means the guidance can say things a product page would not: that manual collection is fine for a small club, that online collection has real costs, that you should insist on being able to export your own data from whatever system you choose.
It also means there is no ambiguity about where your account and your money are. They are on Sellrow. PayDues holds neither.
If you are a member trying to pay
You do not need anything on this page. Your organization has its own payment channel, whether or not it uses Sellrow, and pay dues covers how to find it.
If your organization does use Sellrow, you will have been given a payment page by them directly — you do not need a Sellrow account of your own to pay, and you should not create one on the assumption that you do.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need a PayDues account?
- No — there is no such thing. PayDues has no authentication and holds no accounts. Every login and signup link on this site goes to Sellrow, which is where accounts actually exist.
- Is Sellrow the same thing as PayDues?
- No. They are separate. PayDues is a public information site about dues and takes no payments. Sellrow is the platform organizations use to manage members and collect dues. PayDues is published by the team behind Sellrow.
- Can members pay their dues through PayDues?
- No. If your organization uses Sellrow, you pay through the payment page your organization gives you. If it uses something else, you pay through that. PayDues never takes a payment.
- What happens when I click 'Get started'?
- You go to sellrow.co, where you can create an organization account. Registration, authentication and everything that follows happens there — PayDues is not part of that flow beyond sending you to it.
- Do I have to use Sellrow to use PayDues?
- Not at all. The guidance on this site is written to be useful regardless of what you collect dues with, including a bank account and a spreadsheet. Sellrow is one option, mentioned where relevant.
